Feudi del Pisciotto Line

This project started in 2007 with the aim of combining two great Italian specialities: wine and fashion. These specialities are appreciated all over the world and their combination has given life to 10 wines with elegant and exclusive labels designed by masters of Italian fashion like Versace, Missoni, Blumarine, Gianfranco Ferré, Giambattista Valli, Carolina Marengo and Stephan Janson.

The mark of high fashion
for the wines of Feudi del Pisciotto

The wines of Feudi del Pisciotto Line from the vineyards of Feudi del Pisciotto are Sicilian specialities, and they have won prizes all over the world. They are made with indigenous varieties like Nero d'Avola and Frappato, more common international varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, or more unusual ones for Sicily, like Pinot Noir, Semillon and Gewürztraminer. Semillon and Gewürztraminer are used to produce an exceptional dessert wine that came from an intuition of Giacomo Tachis, the Passito Gianfranco Ferré.

Wine for Art

The designer labels made exclusively for Feudi del Pisciotto

As a homage to the island on which the 44 hectares of the vineyards of Feudi del Pisciotto are situated, Paolo Panerai came up with an initiative involving local institutions, made possible thanks to the generous contribution of the Top Italian Fashion Designers.
And so, out of a commitment to art and social issues, Feudi del Pisciotto’s top of the range line of wines known as the Italian Fashion Top Designers Wine Collection was born. A line consisting of 10 wines, whose labels are designed by masters of high fashion like Versace, Missoni, Blumarine, Alberta Ferretti, Gianfranco Ferré, Giambattista Valli, Carolina Marengo and Stephan Janson. The famous designers of the Made in Italy brand have “dressed” the bottles with labels that pay homage to Sicily, agreeing to forego their royalties to finance projects that promote the artistic and cultural heritage of the island, together with Feudi del Pisciotto.

The Restoration of the Serpotta

Art and society united in a common project

The first project to be finished was the restoration of the group of sculptures housed in Palermo known as L’Eterno by Giacomo Serpotta, an 18th century genius in the art of sculpting. As a homage to his work, Feudi del Pisciotto decided to name its top of the range wine L’Eterno. It is a 100% Pinot Noir that was first produced from the harvest of 2011 and it has a detail from the work by Serpotta on its label. In 2020, the second promotional project will be presented, and this time it is connected with a work by a contemporary Sicilian artist.
